Recovered close to the Open Gauntlet waystation, Wind Moon Priest Tobias As you will no doubt now be aware we succeeded in retrieving the blood wind herald from the shrine within the Aldonar Tombs, Our distraction although not as successful as we would have liked proves sufficient. The herald is strongwilled and prone to fits of rage. The embodiments allows for some measure of control. It is best to pander to its whils where possible carrot and stick. The herald should lead you to the shrine of the blood oracle. We continue to locate the others and will meet you if we are able. The past is ours Chief Archaeologist Tomas |

The Catacombs of Asherai/Agoth
The Catacombs of Asherai was created by the former Cadre members and necromancers who had taken Agoth as Realm Lord as well. The name was changed to the Catacombs of Agoth after the ritual at All Hallows last year. Whilst Otion Wraithchild was declared the Tower Leader, he was a mindless being and never actually set foot within the Tower. The real Tower Leader was Tiresias, the only surviving member of the original Dymwan Cadre pact into the Agoth experiment.

The rise of Agoth and how this entity came about is documented elsewhere within this Library; the bulk of this detail will not be repeated here. Suffice it to say that Agoth, whilst powerful and with a mind of its own, is in reality nothing more than a parasite, the product of a Device (which is referred to as Agoth) that has been attached to the ancient power of the Void, by the skills and manipulations of the leaders of the Dymwan Cadre. It was never originally intended to become a thoughtform but developed its own consciousness due to the manipulation of the Void and the manner of its creation. Whilst it is not under the direct control of any of the people who contributed to make it, it does contain a large proportion of their consciousness and is therefore susceptible to their influence. |
