A statused member of the Gauntlet Sect can take the title of Priest.

Background

The Gauntlet Sect is dedicated to the Neutral Sphere. The invocations taught by the sect are used to bolster a Priest's fighting abilities either directly or by empowering his weapons. It is common to see Priests of the Gauntlet Sect in full armour acting as secondary warriors within a group, using their invocations to strengthen the fighting line. However many Priests of this sect do not consider themselves even secondary warriors, preferring to utilise all of their invocations to power up those more suited to combat and the Sect supports both types equally.

• Marko - Dwarven Grey Gauntlet High Priest and Hero of Khazad Dum.
• Lupus - Human High Priest and Hero of the Alliance.

Requirements to Join

The Gauntlet requires its members to use their invocations to improve the combat efficiency of their group.

Guild Skills

These skills are available to Guildmembers at normal use of character points but do not require specific expenditure of Status:

• Enhanced Armour Mastery
• Connection with 2nd Sphere
• Cast from 2nd Sphere Ranks 1 - 5
• Write Lay Power Invocation Scrolls

Status Skills Ranks 20 - 63

These skills are available to all Guildmembers at normal use of character points and the expenditure of one point of status.

• Make Talisman
• Learn Invocations Rank 1 - 8
• Write Ritual Power Invocation Scroll
• Discern Alchemical Potion
• Discern Alchemical Potion Mastery
• Enhanced Discern Alchemical Potion Mastery

Note that the spending of one status point allows your character to learn all of the Discern Potions skills. Character points must still be spent on them however.

These skills are available to all Guildmembers with more than 640 points at normal use of character points and the expenditure of one point of status.
