As All Hallows approaches and the veil between the Plane of the Sleepless Dead and Orin Rakatha grows thin, old rites are conducted in the Mere seeking to entwine the flow of two spheres, touching and enhancing both.

The Valley has gathered a group of adventurers at the Breaks Waystation on the edge of the Mere to discover what is causing it, perhaps the Shadow Lodge, perhaps something from the Abyss?

Whatever the cause, it has something to do with three hags, dead sorcerers and high priests of the Taranor, who drowned in Maegnor Swamp decades ago. Though, why they are doing it and who for is a mystery, it has been said that this is another scheme of Calex Wraithspawn to grow in power - but to what end?
