 Five years ago Ison arrived under Dark Omens and rose to be the leader of the Fortress of Pentar. Following incursions from both sides tensions continue to rise between the Fortress of Pentar and the Valley. Rhianna Layonaise, former Paragon of Chastity of Halmadons Heights and current aspirant Knight of the Michelene sect is his Mother. Can Rhianna and the band of Valley misfits reunite her family and diffuse hostilities between the two Nations? Or will he need to be destroyed to bring peace and atone for his crimes against the Valley?
